Record mode and Pause mode

Record mode is the resting state — Rewind listens and the belt keeps moving. You get the External/System source toggle, the Audio/MIDI toggle, the input meter and the Gate button.

Pause mode stops the belt so you can look at what's on it. Selection, the playback marker, the zoom select area, Clear memory and Save all become available.

Capturing something you just played

1. Click Pause.
2. Drag across the waveform to select the region you want.
3. Click and hold on the selection for one second, then drag it into your DAW or onto your hard drive.

Click outside a selection to deselect. The blue outlined box is the zoom select area — everything inside it is what the large waveform displays.

Getting back to recording

Rewind can resume on its own. In standalone, set how long the mouse must be idle before it restarts. As a plugin, it restarts when you close the plugin window.
