How do I connect my sample library?

Click the + button, top right, to open the Sample Import screen, then browse to your files or folders.

There are three ways to get samples in, and most people use more than one.

Point Rando at a folder you already have

Settings (the three-bars icon, top left) → Sample Locations → + → find your folder → Open.

Download a pack from us

Settings → Packs → Install. It downloads and is ready to play immediately.

Add a common location in one click

At the bottom of the Sample Locations tab there's a waveform button that adds known library folders — the Ableton Factory Library and similar — without you having to hunt for the path.

Added samples to a folder Rando already knows?

Use the refresh icon to rescan that location. You don't need to remove and re-add it.
